Fair Chance (Part 2)
Synopsis: Voyager prepares for battle against the Seventh Dimension, while the prisoners of Mercury plan escape
Date Released: 5th May 2002
Interesting Facts: I think this was the first time I did a recap a TV show's one would be like, that was for the main seasons. Before Season Three, recaps were just me basically telling the story. Those usually were a paragraph long. Maybe I should of kept them like that, a lot of B4FV episodes would be a lot shorter ^_^
Current Feedback: One vote, and won Best Season Finale in 2005's awards.
Goofs: None know apart from probably my Mercury ideas ^_^
Inspired By: The main storyline was original, the Mercury parts were inspired by my old non-scifi series I based on the planet. That series was a rip off of other things like Monkey Island, and Lion King but the planet itself stuff was my idea. There were other little jokes throughout mainly the second half taken/used from other series such as the Simpsons.

FV The Movie II : Oasis of Abatua
Synopsis: Voyager stops at a planet to have shore leave. Jessie starts having hallucinations about her past life as Unu. James, Jessie & Duncan find an ancient bracelet that leads to the Oasis of Abatua. Not longer after Tom, Lena & Craig joins the three on the planet, they are attacked by Resistance Borg Drones who want to revive Iinan to gain access to a gate that can take them across huge distances.
Date Released: 8th May 2002
Interesting Facts: The movie was going to be called The Reincarnation, but as it was very similar to the previous movie it had to be changed. Like the first movie this was going to be a two parter episode originally. There wasn't another planned movie for this season at the time, I'm not 100% sure but still if there was it wasn't even downgraded to an episode as none of Season Three's entries could of been ex movies. ||  The movie was originally written back at the time when I had started Season Two, some stuff in it had to go.. for example James' proposition happened in it (the episode An Apple A Day makes a brief reference to it being moved earlier in the series). That version was edited out differently, mainly it followed The Mummy Returns plot a little more than the online one.
Current Feedback: Back in the day friend/reader Emma read through the first three parts, and loved it.. however she does have Mummy Returns probably at the top of her favourite films list. To this day I still don't know if she looked at the fourth part ^_^
Goofs: I've said it in an earlier episode guide and I'll say it again, James' reaction to the Chosen bruise he has. I had character explanations like he'd forgotten, or was convinced from stuff in B4FV's second and third season that he had the faint "nearly was Chosen but ended up being Natural" rare one, while Zare was the Chosen. In It's Your Duty the watcher Ligod had to try to figure out who was who, the marks were an obvious thing to look at and well I tried to write my way out of it with the two refusing, Zare said she did and James said something like he probably does with all the bruises/scars he has. It would of worked if James in the movie didn't seem so surprised, true he didn't go "omg really, nobody said" and it's not as bad as I made it out to be, still it bugs me. || Original version had Jessie stabbed in the stomach.. that was a typing error so it was edited.
Inspired By: The Mummy Returns, hmm that wasn't so hard.
Main Characters: James, Jessie, Duncan, Lena, Craig, Tom and Faye

New Earth
Synopsis: A week after the events on Abatua, Voyager and the Enterprise finally make it to New Earth to repair Voyager. But the crew's problems aren't over as they are faced with a threat from within
Date Released: 2nd June 2002
Interesting Facts: The episode was given the current title so nobody could really guess what was going to happen in the episode, except that New Earth was in it. Even the synopsis doesn't give away much.
Current Feedback: No votes but was still nominated for Best Episode in 2004.
Goofs: None known
Inspired By: An episode of one of many incarnations of Kidz Trek, the season story arc very basically comes from the series. However it didn't get passed the drawing board.

The Chain Reaction
Synopsis: Morale continues to fall among certain members of the crew, matters get worse when the Enterprise gets trapped next to a portal
Date Released: 21st July 2002
Interesting Facts: Like New Earth the synopsis was written in a subtle way to avoid people guessing about the episode. ||  It took a while to pick an actress for Sasha, but no matter who I chose who looked the part they were always at least 30 so I picked the youngest. Sasha is supposed to be a teen here, at the time I couldn't find someone around that age for her. I didn't think it was too much of an issue, then I created Slayer X and well I'm stuck with that decision. Good thing this isn't an actual TV show ey ^_^ ||  This episode's recap was the first of it's kind: it did more than just preview an entire last episode, it went back to Season Two's finale to show readers what happened that effects what happens in this one. Only a few episodes get this treatment: Burnt out and Falling, Lullaby, The Moving Shadow, Season Five's premiere Wrong Direction, the season finale Instinct used a different approach to recap it's entire season.
Current Feedback: Only got one vote but was nominated for Best Episode in 2004 & 2005, and tied with Tomorrow's Voyager for the 2005 title.
Goofs: None known
Inspired By: The ritual in the episode was inspired by the Buffy Season Six premiere, well inspired is the wrong term.. the rest of the episode's ideas were original. That damn disclaimer makes it seem otherwise.
Main Characters: James, Lena, Craig, Yasmin, Tom and er.. someone else.

Friday the Thirteenth
Synopsis: After the members of an awayteam are involved in an accident, a strange force starts following them which puts them all at risk
Date Released: 22nd September 2002
Interesting Facts: This episode was due to be released in the same week as September 11th's first year anniversary, and the episode was a parody of Final Destination.. one of the first scenes there's an airplane disaster. I felt it was a bit inappropriate to release this at that time, so I skipped it to release The Secret of Malain, followed by Dark Mirror the following week. The episodes were still written in order, in fact Friday the Thirteenth had been written back in August - I do remember a hiatus while I figured out what I was doing with the prequels and to let readers recover from Jessie's resurrection in the sixth episode. Along with other sites this one closed in memorial on the 11th, but somebody decided to flame the guestbook saying that I was insensitive and was making excuses, trying to get out of writing - The Secret of Malain had been online for three days then, Dark Mirror released the following week. After that I decided to leave well enough alone, the site never closed for that reason again. He/she did make a good point somewhere in the flame, but I do remember being miffed that he/she suggested back then that I was slacking off from writing - these days I'd just pat them on the back (not literal) and say 'good spotting, now help me out of it ^_^' September 2002 was an excellent month for episodes (seven were released), so it couldn't of been further from the truth.

Akoonah Matata
Synopsis: After Kiara falls into a coma mysteriously Lena and several others tell a rather long story to how it happened
Date Released: 29th September 2002
Interesting Facts: This was going to be the last episode written by ex writer Firera, but she later co-wrote True Colours. Her favourite of the characters was Kiara, and despite the written by having Charizard's name in there, as usual she did the writing, he made one or two suggestions.

Future Imperfect
Synopsis: As Kiara is in her coma she dreams about the crew's lives five years in the future
Date Released: 6th October 2002
Interesting Facts: This was going to explain the episode Timeless as it is entirely (with the exception of the last scene *cough*) a dream like this one is. Hopefully people might of gathered that it was a dream as there were subtle hints throughout: the whole paradox with Lena would of made that future a lot different, James and/or Jessie tell her she probably dreamt the crash she sees, Kiara never gets the telepathy/visions abilities as other characters do later - the power she got that Mirror Universes hinted at was in fact the Q inside her, plus James and Jessie know better than naming their kid Jimmy, also they'd probably have more than one kid including Duncan, and Kiara & Jimmy were in fact cousins, eugh ^_^ Anyway there is no explanation or hint to Timeless in the end as there was nowhere to put the hint. || Lilly and Bryan's "romance" in the episode was only put in as the actors played a couple in Buffy, really that's all.
Current Feedback: Nominated for Best Episode in 2005
Goofs: None, all but the last scene was a dream
Inspired By: Supposably a FV play me and Emma did, but I don't remember.. back then we would of had an episode in the first place to act out. Oh well, I'm sure it was just inspired by re-reading Timeless and finding no real hint that the scene with Craig at the end was the only "real" part.

Voyager Nights
Synopsis: Janeway and Chakotay are faced with a dilemma but that's the last problem on their minds when the whole ship goes into total darkness
Date Released: 27th October 2002
Interesting Facts: Most of the first part was written on paper during one of my holidays, most likely the one in 2001 where I wrote Oasis of Abatua, two B4FV episodes and part of a Season Two episode. Boy I was busy that holiday ^_^ A lot of it was typed up and edited severely, it was long before Duncan was born technically so his character was a little off (for one thing an old stupid idea that he liked vodka was in it, that was changed to Cherry Coke in the episode thankfully - the vodka/coke in the pool was the only example I remember), not many people knew about Jessie's pregnancy including Tani so as you can imagine some scenes were a nightmare to edit, oh and the idea that Duncan (and Kyle) was having swimming lessons is pretty absurd, he's only one but it's my fault for not removing him from the scene during the rewrite. I hope he was just there with rings in the shallow end just to annoy people, not learn ^_^ I do know that idea came from messing about in the pool on holiday, playing the kids and a few adults.
Current Feedback: Two votes
Goofs: Only that Kyle and Duncan are very young to be getting swimming lessons ^_^
Inspired By: The labour scenes were parodied from Friends where Rachel has her baby

Around the Nebula
Synopsis: As Voyager tries to rescue the Enterprise from a dark nebula, the Enterprise crew experience dreams that actually become reality
Date Released: 13th January 2003
Interesting Facts: Not interesting but I remember seeing Star Trek Nemesis before writing this, and wanted to make fun of at least something (not cos I hated it, quite the opposite). The poor Enterprise got all of it with the pretty useless warp core shield, that goes off on probably the first torpedo and the ramming scene.
Current Feedback: Received three votes, and won the Best Sci-Fi Episode award
Goofs: Unsure but the Voyager crew probably get their hands on the Enterprise before the incident in Nemesis, luckily the front of the ship falling off was just a joke ^_^
Inspired By: Supposably the TNG episode from Season Seven where Data's dreams help him save the ship.
Main Characters: More or less everyone based on the Enterprise

Baby Don't Swear and Spread Rumours
Synopsis: An alien ship crewed by hundreds of Game Cube victims trades with Voyager and the Enterprise, while the ship's Captain searches for his long lost daughter. Meanwhile Sasha and Johnathan speak their first words.
Date Released: 27th February 2003
Interesting Facts: Vulpix came up with a lot of the ideas for the episode, and the idea for Jodie in the following episode. Usually I have exact plans for episodes such as these, but this time all I gave her was the theme: the kids first words and Jessie's dad, and the brief info to go with them. I didn't expect the cliffhanger at the end that's for sure. Also I left the James part open to her, if she left him I would of "cured" him in Witchcraft instead.

Witchcraft
Synopsis: After Faye experiences a telepathic vision of a Q girl getting her powers taken from her by a witch, Kiara goes missing.
Date Released: 22nd March 2003
Interesting Facts: This was the first episode acted by Emma and I, I don't know where the idea for the plays came from but for years they've been really useful to get/expand new ideas and cure writers block.
Current Feedback: None
Goofs: Only the first scene where there's a vision of the witch draining a Q.. that couldn't of been true as a full Q would of escaped. I can't remember the idea behind it, but I believe that, that was just one of those inaccurate warning visions.

Goofs: None known
Inspired By: Basically the episode of Pokémon with the same name.. one character is forced home to marry a girl who looks exactly like the one he works with (the two are a big 'ship in the series), I always joked they were long lost twins.. plus the girl is absolutely mad. Jessie's twin sister was created early in Season One (almost straight after Jessie was added) to be just as mad as her.. that's why it's basically inspired ^_^

Synopsis: Lilly is angered when she hears Faye's rare views on love and relationships, so she puts a spell on her to help her but it backfires. Meanwhile Jessie and B'Elanna fall out with disastrous results.
Date Released: 16th April 2003
Interesting Facts: The title of the episode is the one of a parody I did for the song Tuck Your Shirt In.. That parody's theme is in a tiny way what inspired the episode, so it was named after it. It's very complicated to explain so I'll just leave it.

Goofs: None known
Inspired By: An old Janeway/Chakotay fanfiction which I read while underage.. it was a NC-17 fic that had Janeway being raped by an obsessed crewmember (Crewman Foster lol, my crazy Foster twin character was partially inspired cos there was a Crewman Foster, and I knew a boy who bullied me with that surname), the doc wiping her memory, the crew covering it up but stuff reminds her of it. It was a brilliant story, ruined by graphic details in my opinion ^_^
