synopsis
Cloud, Aeris and company are on their way to the bright and colourful Gold Saucer. Unknown to them a dark and powerful presence awaits them there.

Unlike Fifth Fantasy which will be a series (if I ever write more than a few paragraphs), The Final Ring is a oneshot fic. Bare in mind that I'm not used to writing just one story, it may go on a while ^_^ It started with me wanting to do a daft crossover with the Ring which I've done before with another series, but as per usual more ideas started to form in my head and it's become a little bit more serious. If anyone is interested on what will probably come, check out my previous attempt to do a humouress crossover-turned to serious fic instead, here. One difference being is that I'm really trying hard to write better than I was back then, Fifth Voyager (the name of the series that story is from) is written pretty basically compared to The Final Ring. Obviously I'm a long way from novel standards, but still when it comes to fanfiction I believe you can't write like that constantly.. even Fifth Voyager is snubbed on some sites for being too long (must not rant about this here.. lol).
