The Deception

Episode Synopsis
When Jessie regains some unpleasant memories, she turns to the black magic to get revenge.

Brief Note
The previous episode got a recent edit because of how rude and rapey it is (unfortunately it still is very much the latter even with edits), and this one I planned to join it as I wasn't sure where Knife In/Back Stab ended and this started. I also plan to make some changes to The Moving Shadow, but more on that there. This one I foresee having the least amount of changes since the majority of my issues were all in Put The Knife In.

I've been wrong many times before so... here goes.

Captains Log Stardate 58642.8: It's been two days since B'Elanna's disappearance, after searching both ships there is no sign of her whereabouts. I have called for a meeting with both ships' senior staff.

The Conference Room, Enterprise:
Duncan was playing with the Enterprise D model, he was pretending it was flying around the room. He climbed onto the table, when he did he dropped the model. It smashed into two pieces, kinda like what the Enterprise D could do. He glanced around looking nervous. "Uhoh"

The door opened, Kathryn and Lena came through it. They stopped when they spotted the smashed model, and then Duncan.

"Is that model a late voodoo doll?" Lena asked as she turned to Kathryn.

"Seems like it," Kathryn replied.

"It wasn't me," Duncan said quietly.

"Oh how many times did I hear that from James," Kathryn sighed as she shook her head.

Lena laughed a little, "come on Dunc, we're having a meeting in here in a few minutes."

"Can I have the Enterprise E model?" Duncan asked.

"That wouldn't be a good idea," Lena replied.

"I'm not a wuss kid, I can carry it," Duncan said.

"That's what I'm worried about. Go back to nursery," Lena said.

"Ok mummy," Duncan said sarcastically. He ran out. Lena shook her head, she and Kathryn sat down at the table.

Most of the main cast all came into the room, not at the same time though. They all managed to find a seat around the table.

"Ok, Voyager security.. anything new to report?" Kathryn said.

"All we have is that B'Elanna was last seen nearby Engineering. But you know that I gave that report to you two days ago," Craig said.

"Fine, Enterprise security. What about you?" Kathryn asked.

"Well I figured that her disappearance might have something to do with Lilly, but she says she hasn't done anything to B'Elanna since the, er incident," James replied. Tom shuddered, while Jessie just moved around uncomfortably in her seat.

"It does seem very witchcrafty," Craig added on.

"Kathryn, you had the chance to get a different chief of Security for Voyager," Chakotay whispered.

"Well it was either him or James," Kathryn whispered back.

"Well at least James has more experience, he'd be better," Chakotay whispered.

"You know I can hear you," Craig said, sounding upset.

"Good, now you know," James said.

"I'd cry but I'm too macho, unlike somebody," Craig said.

"Ooh, two cute guys in a fight. This I gotta see," Nikki giggled. A few people glanced at her.

"Can't you two fight when my wife is actually found?" Tom asked angrily.

"I'll settle it," Lena said. Craig squealed suddenly, Lena glanced at him. "So macho, Craigy," she said.

"That doesn't count," Craig grumbled.

"Well at least we can't rule out witchcraft just yet. Craig, James, you two talk to all the remaining witches," Kathryn ordered.

Tom put his hand up, "um I hate to start another fight but I think Jessie's a good suspect."

Jessie glared at him, "do you want to live at all?"

"How is Jessie a good suspect?" Chakotay asked.

"Don't be stupid, I can't do spells without a book unless I'm evil. I'm too new to this," Jessie said.

"My orders still stand," Kathryn said.

"I think the rest of the security people should continue looking for her," Lena said.

"During the two days they must of looked everywhere, right?" Jessie said.

"Probably, but we have to be sure. All security crewmembers can go," Kathryn said. James, Craig and Kevin got out of their chairs, they left the room.

"Did we pass any planets or ships in the past few days?" Chakotay asked in Bryan's direction.

"Only that human colony planet, oh and the Lillyia Fleet," Bryan replied.

Everyone stared blankly for a while, a few people glanced around at each other. "Um, does anybody know if James or Craig's teams have searched on the Lillyia's?" Tani asked.

"No, Chakotay you go and find out," Kathryn ordered.

"Fine," Chakotay said. He got out of his chair and walked out.

"Well one things for sure, we would've detected her if she was on the planet. There are only humans on that colony," Triah said.

"Bryan, take us back there just in case," Kathryn ordered.

"Um, yes ma'am," Bryan said. He got up, he rushed out.

"Good idea, the human colony wasn't the only colony remember," Lena said.

"If the Lillyia's weren't searched, what do we do? They won't be back until tomorrow," Tom asked.

"Well if she is there she'll be ok, tomorrow's not that bad," Faye replied.

"She's right, I'm sure she'll be ok no matter where she is," Kathryn said.

James/Jessie's Quarters:
B'Elanna walked through the door, and I don't mean the doors opened for her. She went into one of the bedrooms, looked around for a while. She turned around, and accidentally backed into the wall when she did. She looked confused, and stepped away from the wall. "Ookay, that's not right."

B'Elanna stepped forward and touched the nearby wardrobe. She tried to touch something else but her hand went through it. "Great, I can control it," she muttered to herself.

Jessie stepped into the room, she knelt down next to the bed and pulled out the spell book. She stood up with it, and placed it on the bed. The bookmark was half way into the book, she opened the book on the page. After putting the bookmark onto the bed, she started looking through the book.

B'Elanna stepped closer to the bed, she watched Jessie as she looked through the book. "It was you, you b**ch."

Jessie eventually closed the book, she stood up and left the room. B'Elanna followed her after picking up the book. Jessie stopped in the middle of the room, she glanced around. B'Elanna stepped up behind her, raised the book and she hit Jessie over the head with it. She fell onto the ground.

Jessie used the sofa to help her sit up, "B'Elanna?"

"Who else?" B'Elanna said, she grabbed a hold of her and she threw her into the table. They really need to stop getting glass tables.

B'Elanna dropped the book nearby her. She went over to a nearby console, and pressed a button.

Jessie pulled herself out of what was left of the table, she quickly went for the book. B'Elanna quickly grabbed her, and threw her back onto the ground. B'Elanna went over to the book, she started to look through it.

Deck Six:
Foster ran up to Kevin and James, "hey wait up!" Kevin and James stopped, they turned to him.

"What?" James said.

"I was in the security office thing, somebody pressed the Security call button," Foster said.

"If you want I'll take care of it, it might be a damsel in distress," Kevin said.

James groaned, "oh please."

"The call came from your quarters, I thought you'd might want to check it out," Foster said.

"Nobody should be in my quarters at all. Kevin, Foster you both may as well come with me," James said. He went in the opposite direction to where he and Kevin were going before. Foster and Kevin rushed to catch up with him.

"What about the whole finding B'Elanna thing?" Kevin asked.

"We have plenty of teams, don't we?" James replied.

James/Jessie's Quarters:
B'Elanna stopped at a certain page, she picked up the book and placed it next to where Jessie was lying. She stood over her, kicked her hard in the stomach.

Jessie pulled herself up, she moved the book closer to her. "Ok ok," she muttered. She started to read from the book, as she did her eyes started to go black. She finished reading, B'Elanna turned visible again.

"I think you and I have some unfinished business, don't you?" B'Elanna snapped.

Jessie turned to her, "I think you're right." She pushed her hand out, B'Elanna went flying across the room. "I think you were better off invisible."

B'Elanna quickly got back up, she went over to Jessie and tried to hit her. Jessie quickly grabbed her arm, she pushed her to the ground, where the smashed table was. Jessie went over to where she was lying, "the tables have turned haven't they."

B'Elanna kicked her in the leg, she fell to the ground. When Jessie pulled herself back up, the black in her eyes was fading away. She knelt down and picked the book up. B'Elanna got back onto her feet, she tried to hit Jessie again but once again she grabbed her arm. With her spare hand, B'Elanna grabbed the book, and threw it as far away as she could.

"What are you going to do now, huh?" B'Elanna said.

The black in Jessie's eyes disappeared for a split second, when they did she stumbled backwards. B'Elanna hit her hard in the face, Jessie fell onto the ground. She didn't get back up.

B'Elanna carefully went over to her, she knelt down. The doors opened, James, Kevin and Foster rushed inside.

"We're good," Kevin said smugly.

"Um, yeah," Foster said, not sounding too sure about it.

James went over to B'Elanna, he pulled her to her feet. "What did you do to her!?"

"Calm down," B'Elanna snapped as she pulled her arm out of his grip. "I'm on the good side, she's been abusing that spell book."

Kevin knelt down, he picked up the spell book and stood back up. "Don't get me wrong, but that's a bad thing how?"

"I made her cast a spell to make me visible again, when she did she went all evil wicca again. Don't worry, keeping the book away from her did the trick," B'Elanna replied.

"So why is she unconscious?" James asked.

B'Elanna groaned, "I did that just in case she'd try more spells, I did everyone a favour."

"What I'd like to know is why did you make her do it? Isn't Juna the more powerful witch?" Foster asked.

"Like yeah," B'Elanna said sarcastically. She went over to Kevin, "but Jessie was the one who made me invisible, thank you very much."

"No no, thank you," James said sarcastically. He knelt down, "I'm taking her to Sickbay, you can tell me the rest.. well never."

"Oh well I'm sorry that your wife turned on me using spells, and then tried to kill me," B'Elanna grumbled. She stormed out.

"I'm not following her," Foster said nervously.

"I will," Kevin said. He followed B'Elanna out.

Voyager's Sickbay:
Doctor Jones was busy treating Jessie, James was standing nearby.

"She was luckier than her sister was, there's no glass in life threatening places," Doctor Jones said.

"Can you check her eyes, just in case she's still evil," James asked.

Doctor Jones shrugged, he gently opened one of her eyes, they were their usual colour. "She seems normal, keep her away from any spell books if you want her to stay that way."

Tom came into the room not looking any happier than before. "Can I talk to you a second?" he asked in James' direction. He rolled his eyes, he went over to him. "Is what I heard from B'Elanna true?"

"Depends what you heard," James replied.

"That Jessie was the one responsible for all that's happened to her, excluding that damn love spell," Tom said.

"What's wrong with you? Jessie wasn't trying to hurt her was she? If she was she would've done a spell more dangerous. All that she did was make her invisible," James said.

"No, according to B'Elanna every guy she saw talked behind her back, and gave her funny looks," Tom said.

"Ohno, that's so traumatising," James said sarcastically.

"You think this is funny?" Tom asked angrily.

"I wasn't laughing," James replied.

"This is just so unbelievable. I thought you were the unstable one out of you and Jess," Tom said, folding his arms.

"I'd still say that," James said.

"Well the only thing you did to me when I was really drunk, and tried to kiss Jessie, was hit me. Obviously Jessie has more problems than you do," Tom replied.

"Jessie didn't hit her, she obviously just played a joke on her. What's your problem?" James said.

"No you're right, you two deserve each other," Tom said angrily. He walked out of the room.

"You know, I'm on your side on this one," Doctor Jones said.

"With which part?" James asked.

"Well hitting B'Elanna would've been worse than what Jessie did do. But, if B'Elanna didn't catch her we probably would have an evil witch on our hands," Doctor Jones replied. He pushed a hypospray into Jessie's neck, he walked away.

"Maybe I'll get this a bit better if I hear both sides," James muttered.

Doctor Jones nodded, "if there's any problems, I'm in my office."

James went over to the biobed, as he did Jessie woke up. She sat up, "what am I doing here?"

"B'Elanna won, does that help?" James replied.

"Yeah it does. If you're wondering I wasn't going to do anything else with that book," Jessie said.

"What were you doing with it in the first place?" James asked.

Jessie slid off the biobed. "I just wanted to get back at her, that's all. All I did was pick two spells at random, even if I didn't understand them. If they looked really bad I would pick randomly again."

"Look what B'Elanna did, it wasn't her fault," James said.

"So I keep hearing," Jessie muttered.

"Then why did you try to get back at her?" James asked.

"Because I tried to forgive her, but I couldn't. I thought I'd do the petty thing and get revenge. You happy now?" Jessie replied. She headed for the door, James grabbed her arm to stop her. "I told you, what more do you want?"

"Jess, look at me," James said. Jessie sighed, she turned around. "Are you telling me everything?"

"Kinda yes. Look B'Elanna's worse than me, she attacked me in our quarters. She knew she was invisible to me, so how was I supposed to fight back?" Jessie replied.

"All you had to do was avoid her until you calmed down about this. I thought by now you'd know that revenge only makes things worse," James said.

"If you're just going to lecture me I'm leaving," Jessie said.

"Ok fine, you two are even. Just forget about this," James said.

Jessie shook her head, "we're not even."

"All right, but I'm destroying that book of yours," James said.

"You wouldn't dare," Jessie muttered.

"Why, what will you do? Get revenge on me too?" James said.

"I don't believe you, I thought you loved me," Jessie said.

"I do, that's why I don't want you getting yourself into trouble like this," James said.

Jessie pulled her arm out of his grip. "Don't you understand, I'm a grown up girl.. I can take care of myself. I don't need you protecting me all the time." She headed towards the door.

"Fine, I'll stop protecting you. Why don't we see how long you'll last," James said as she got to the door.

Jessie stopped, she turned around. "Can't you give me the last word for once?"

Despite the situation James couldn't help but smile smugly. "Nope sorry."

"Damn it," Jessie groaned. She walked out.

Doctor Jones came out of his office. "Sounds to me like she got the last word that time."

"You're right," James said.

James/Jessie's Quarters:
Jessie walked in, she looked at the mess of the room before going further into it. "Computer, lights." The lights came on but after a few seconds they went straight back off.

A strange disembodied voice took over the entire room, "Jessie."

"Who's there?" Jessie said calmly for once.

"Aaaw, you don't remember our little time together. That's a shame, let me play it back for you," the voice said.

Jessie turned around, when she did something hit her over the head. She fell onto the ground.

A little while later:
James and Ian were going down the corridor. "Why don't you say, oh yeah?" Ian said.

"You're useless," James said.

"Thanks, I take pride in my uselessness," Ian said sarcastically.

"Sorry, just a bit edgy that's all," James said.

"I don't blame ya. I tell you what, why don't you, me, Jessie and Danny go on a married couple double date. It'll be fun," Ian said.

"Yeah, that sounds fun. It'll have to wait until Jessie and I have made up," James said.

"Judging by 99% of your past fights, I think I'm going to have to hurry and ask Danny about it. You two may beat me to it. See ya later," Ian said. He rushed down a different corridor.

James shook his head, he continued down the other corridor. A few unknown crewmembers passed him. Tani was also coming in his direction. Everyone then heard muffled screams coming from one of the quarters.

"Um, that came from your quarters right," Tani said nervously.

"Right," James said. He and Tani rushed over to one of the doors, they quickly went inside. They both found Jessie on the floor, screaming. "Tan, contact Voyager's Sickbay," James said quickly. He quickly went over to Jessie, he knelt down beside her.

"Right," Tani said. She tapped her commbadge. "Henderson to Voyager's Sickbay, we have a medical emergency."

"Jess, it's ok.." James said, he tried to hold her still. Tani walked over.

"What the hell's wrong with her?" Tani asked carefully.

"I dunno," James replied.

Jessie finally opened her eyes, "James?"

"It's ok, I'm here," James said softly.

Jessie sat up, she quickly put her arms around him.

"Transport is taking it's time, huh," Tani said. Right on cue, all three dematerialised.

Sickbay:
Jessie was lying on a different biobed, Doctor Jones was scanning her. James and Tani were standing around nearby. Doctor Jones sighed, he went over to the pair.

"Tani, can you give us a moment?" Doctor Jones asked.

"Oh it's that bad, ok," Tani muttered. She left the room.

"I don't understand how but the wiped memories have somehow become unwiped," Doctor Jones said.

"How is that possible?" James asked.

Doctor Jones shrugged, "maybe in her fight with B'Elanna she hit her head like she did during her attack. Or maybe she hit her head afterwards, I don't know."

"You can just wipe her memories again, right?" James said.

"Actually no. Doing so the first time was a dangerous hazard on it's own, doing it again would no doubt cause a lot of brain damage," Doctor Jones said.

"So what should I do?" James asked.

"Each victim handles it differently, so I can't help you there. But we do know how traumatised she was when it happened. My guess is she'll be very paranoid, and most probably won't want to be alone for a while," Doctor Jones replied.

"If the one who did it was a real guy, he would've been minced meat in Neelix's stew a long time ago," James said angrily. He placed his hand over his face.

"I'm afraid either way it wouldn't help. You've just got to make her feel safe, the attacker wasn't real so that should be a little easier," Doctor Jones said.

"Yeah, how the hell am I going to tell her what actually happened?" James asked.

"Well I'd start with the whole 'it was only a dreamed up guy' part," Doctor Jones replied.

"Great advice," James muttered.

"I'll leave you to it," Doctor Jones said. He went into his office.

James went over to the biobed Jessie was lying on, he sat down next to her. "Hey, you any better?"

Jessie sat up, "no."

"Look, did the Doctor tell you anything?" James asked.

"He just said that my head was better," Jessie replied.

"I suppose that's a start," James said.

"Look what is going on? A weird voice was talking to me one second, and then.. I passed out. Please tell me I passed out," Jessie said in a shaky voice.

"Jess, I can't lie to you..." James said quietly.

"No.. no, ew no. He hit me. I must've been unconscious, and dreaming," Jessie stuttered.

James put his arm around her shoulders, "Jess, it's not what you think."

"What's that supposed to mean, exactly?" Jessie asked.

"What you saw or heard, it was an hallucination," James replied.

"Oh, never thought of that. Wow, that's a relief," Jessie sighed.

"I wasn't finished," James said.

"What could I be missing?" Jessie said.

"Um, you know the whole nebula incident, with the aliens who make dreams reality," James said.

"Yeah, but what's that got to do with anything?" Jessie asked.

"Well you got knocked unconscious and you dreamt it, that came reality," James replied.

"No, that can't be right. I recognised the voice," Jessie said.

"Voice? What did he say?" James asked.

"No.. the voice just before I got knocked out earlier. I dunno," Jessie replied.

"Well maybe it was part of your hallucination," James said.

Jessie placed her hand over her face, "you think I asked for it, don't you?"

"No, I don't. It wasn't your fault," James replied, he took a hold of Jessie's other hand.

"I should have tried harder to stop him, but I didn't.. I couldn't. I couldn't even see his face, everything was blurry, my head hurt so I couldn't move.." Jessie stuttered.

"Look the whole deception, you know us hiding the attack from you. The cover story was true, he did give you a massive concussion," James said.

"So what, I'm tough.. why couldn't I fight the b***ard off!" Jessie said angrily.

"Jess it was portrayed like a dream, dreams don't make sense. Maybe he was too strong. You've got to stop blaming yourself," James said.

Jessie glanced over at James slowly. "Strong.. like Slayer strong?"

"You dreamt the guy up, he wasn't real," James said.

"If that's so, who knocked me out before it all. I have to be asleep to dream, don't I? How could I have dreamt somebody knocking me unconscious when I wasn't even unconscious?" Jessie asked, shaking a little.

"My god, you're right. The doc scanned you, he didn't find anything that.." James replied.

"That what? Showed that he hit me. I know he didn't hit me with anything, he hit me with his own hands, and I know that only a Slayer could do that kind of damage with just his or her own hands," Jessie said, shaking even more than before.

"I hardly doubt any of the Slayers on this ship would want to knock you out. Kevin wouldn't, Sandi's just too nice and Lena, well she likes you," James said.

"No, the Slayer who hit me must've been the one who did the whole thing. Remember, I couldn't stop him, he was too strong," Jessie said.

"So you're suggesting Kevin was responsible for the whole thing?" James said.

Jessie let go of James' hand, and stared at him. "Kevin or you."

"Me? Why the hell would I want to hurt you like that?" James asked in a bewildered tone of voice.

"I dunno, you were evil after the whole thing," Jessie replied stonily.

"No I was just p****d that somebody did that to you," James said.

Jessie snorted in disgust, she pulled herself off the biobed. "You know, you men are all the same aren't you. You know what I think, I think all of you deserve to die horribly and then rot in hell."

James got off the biobed, "Jessie..."

"If no one else is going to do it, I may as well do it," Jessie said, her eyes turned fully black.

Doctor Jones stepped out of his office reading a PADD, whistling an annoying tune. Suddenly James was thrown into the nearby wall, he smashed straight through it. Doctor Jones turned around quickly and went back into his office. He tapped his commbadge.

In: "Jones to Lena, we have a problem."

Tom/B'Elanna's Quarters:
B'Elanna was sitting on the sofa, Tom was standing nearby. "Did you have to attack her like that?" Tom asked.

B'Elanna rolled her eyes, "well I couldn't ask her nicely, she couldn't hear me."

"You still could've restrained yourself when you threw her into that glass table. Her sister died recently because of a glass table incident," Tom said.

"All right, I shouldn't have done that. I'll apologise to her later," B'Elanna said.

"Good," Tom said.

There was an explosion nearby which blew the doors off, B'Elanna and Tom quickly turned towards the door. Jessie walked through the smoke, it all cleared as she did.

B'Elanna glanced towards Tom, "should I apologise now?"

"Well, that would be a good idea," Tom muttered.

"You don't need to apologise, you just need help," Jessie said. She raised her hands, a lightning bolt hit Tom and it pushed him across the room.

"You call that helping?" B'Elanna said angrily. She got off the sofa, and headed towards Jessie. She pointed her hand out towards her, B'Elanna froze on the spot.

"I call it getting rid of a nuisance," Jessie said.

Deck Five:
Lena rushed down the corridor, she knelt down beside James who was sitting on the ground, with a massive cut on his face. "I heard, you ok?" Lena asked as she knelt down.

"I'll live, which is more than I can say for any other guys she runs into," James replied. Lena helped him onto his feet. They both went into Sickbay.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Lena asked as Doctor Jones came out of his office.

"It means she remembers her attack. She's evil, so she's probably out to find the one responsible," Doctor Jones replied.

"She thinks it was me or Kevin," James said quietly.

"You? That's a good one," Lena said.

In: "Torres to Sickbay, Doc you need to beam Tom where you are now!"

"I'm on it, what happened," Doctor Jones said, he went over to the nearby console.

In: "Jessie attacked him."

"Why would she attack Tom? I doubt he would want to hurt her," Lena said.

Tom and B'Elanna rematerialised nearby them. Doctor Jones, James and Lena rushed over to them. Doctor Jones scanned Tom, "nothing serious. I'll take care of it."

"Good," B'Elanna muttered. She turned around, she glanced at James and Lena. "You can keep away," she snapped in James' direction.

"Do you think I'm going to finish the job, or what?" James said sarcastically.

"You know I don't know what to think. One little tiff on our shared honeymoon and all this happens. I don't care if it's a matter of life and death I don't want you and your evil psycho b**ch of a wife, anywhere near me and Tom again!" B'Elanna screamed, she pushed passed James and she stormed off.

Lena raised her eyebrow, "that'll be a little hard since Tom and Jessie work on the Bridge."

"That's not important right now, we've got to find Jessie and stop her," James said.

"Good idea, it seems like she's turning on anyone in her way," Lena said.

"More like turning against men in her way. She said all men should die horribly, and she'd do it herself," James said.

"Great, she could be anywhere then. We'd better get Sandi and Kevin, we're going to need some help," Lena said.

Voyager, the Bridge:
"Captain, the Lillyia Fleet's back," Harry said.

"They're early, I don't like it. Hail them," Kathryn commanded.

"Aye Captain," Harry said.

The viewscreen changed view, it changed to show the Lillyia Bridge. "Lilly, glad you're back. You're early," Kathryn said.

"Well we've found something that you lost, which I kinda was responsible for," Lilly said.

"Kinda how?" Ian said questioningly.

"All right fully," Lilly said. She glanced to the right, Evil C came into view.

"Hey guys," Evil C said.

"Clive, um where's Claire?" Kathryn asked.

"I.. uh, I don't want to talk about it," Evil C replied, sounding nervous.

"We found him on a planet, there's no sign of the shuttle. My guess is, is that Claire took it," Lilly said.

"Clive, why won't you tell us where she is?" Kathryn asked.

"Because I don't know," Evil C replied, he walked out of sight.

"We've also got two other guests, they both claim to know Lena and James," Lilly said. She shrugged as she glanced over at Johnstone. "Dunno how though."

"Lena and James, really. It better not be more relatives," Chakotay said.

"I don't think there's any living ones left," Kathryn grumbled.

"What about your cousin and her kid, I wouldn't be surprised," Chakotay said.

"Harry, Chakotay.. go and meet all three of the Lillyia guests in the transporter room," Kathryn ordered.

"Yes ma'am," Harry said. He and Chakotay headed for the turbolift.

"Maybe it's some of Kiara's dad's relatives," Chakotay said just before the doors closed on him.

A little while later, on the transporter room deck:
Harry and Chakotay were both going down the corridor, Chakotay was busy muttering to himself. Harry spotted Emma going around a different corner, he quickly turned around and followed her. Chakotay didn't notice since he was still muttering to himself.

Emma stopped, she turned around. "What are you following me for? Do you want your a** kicked?"

"No, I just want to know why you're in a bad mood with me," Harry replied.

"Because you're a pig," Emma said.

"I am, how am I a pig?" Harry asked.

"Faye's one of my friends, you really scared her to death," Emma replied. She turned back around and continued on her way.

"Wasn't that the spell thing's fault?" Harry said. Suddenly he was pushed into the nearby wall by an invisible force. Emma turned around, she saw Jessie going up to Harry who couldn't seem to move.

"I take it someone else has been a bad boy," Jessie said.

"Cool.. no it's not.. Cool!" Emma said half in her usual manner. She tried to shake it off, "no it's not cool, it's very very bad."

Jessie glanced over at her, "do you mind, you're throwing me off."

"Sorry, just one question.. why are you evil this time? James cheat on you, Duncan murdered Sasha, broke a nail?" Emma said as she walked closer to the scene.

"Oh, looks like I'm killing the wrong person," Jessie said. She turned away from Harry, he collapsed in a big heap on the ground. She then pointed her hand towards Emma, she ducked just in time. She pushed Jessie to the ground.

Harry tried to pull himself up, Emma grabbed his arm and helped him to his feet. "Let's go before psycho b**ch finishes us off," Emma said. She and Harry rushed off down the corridor.

Jessie pulled herself onto her feet, she brushed her arms. "Well that was embarrassing," she said to herself.

The transporter room:
Harry and Emma joined Chakotay, who was still muttering to himself.

"Maybe it's that Mark guy, nah he didn't know James and Lena," Chakotay muttered.

Harry shook his head, he turned to Sid at the station. "Beam em up."

"Will do," Sid said cheerfully.

Emma glared horribly at him, "there's another guy I have to get back."

Sid's eyes widened, he developed a grin on his face. "Painfully, cool."

"Maybe they have more brothers or sisters," Chakotay muttered.

Lilly, Johnstone, Scot, Evil C and two familiar guys rematerialised on the transporter pad.

"Oh I get it, one's the Games Watcher guy," Chakotay said.

"My name's Ronnie, and this old coot is Wesley," the Games Watcher said.

"I'm not an old coot," Wesley muttered.

"Is Wesley related to James or Lena?" Chakotay asked.

Wesley and Ronnie glanced at each other, they glanced back at Chakotay. "Noo, he's another Games Watcher."

"Damn there goes my money," Chakotay muttered.

Harry groaned, "so why did you come here?"

"Well I've just recently been told that my oldest student is a Chosen Slayer. I've been sent here to train her again," Ronnie replied.

"Lena will be thrilled," Emma said sarcastically.

"Lena? I'm talking about Morgan," Ronnie said.

"She's called Lena now," Harry said.

"Ah, I see," Ronnie said.

"What's the old man here for then?" Emma asked.

"I'm not old! Ahem, I've been sent here to train the other Chosen Slayer," Wesley replied.

Ronnie rolled his eyes, "I can't believe he was right about that one."

"Which one, Kevin or James?" Harry asked.

"Kevin and Sandi's watchers are dead, we have yet to assign new watchers," Wesley replied.

Emma sniggered, "so James has an old coot as a watcher."

"I am not old," Wesley snapped.

"Face the facts Wes. Anyway, where are our Slayers?" Ronnie asked.

"Probably fighting evil once again," Harry said as he rubbed his arm.

"Evil, excellent," Wesley said. Everyone but Sid turned to him with raised eyebrows. "Evil's not excellent, I mean that it's excellent that they are doing their job."

"Nicely covered," Ronnie said. He glanced over at Emma, "why aren't you helping them?"

"I was, I mean I did. I shouldn't have to but I did," Emma replied.

"Well until the three watchers also assigned to this ship arrive, I will be yours," Ronnie said.

"Huh, I'm not a Slayer bleach hair," Emma said.

Wesley laughed, "bleach hair."

"You are, you're a natural.. and so is my hair," Ronnie snapped.

"Sure," Harry said sarcastically.

"Well this is all very nice, can we go?" Lilly asked. Everyone except Sid headed for the door.

"How does that old guy know James or Lena, think Chakotay think," Chakotay muttered as he walked out.

Meanwhile on the next deck:
Ian was going down the corridor, obviously skiving. He was busy humming a stupid tune, really loudly.

"You know I hate that song," Jessie's voice said.

Ian turned around, "hey I like it.. uh, oh not again."

"What, you don't like my new look," Jessie said, pretending to sound hurt.

"It's lovely," Ian said quietly.

"Good, I may take it easy on you," Jessie said as she stepped closer to Ian.

Ian stepped backwards, "take it easy on me? What have I done?"

"You're a man," Jessie replied.

"Can't help that," Ian said.

"Oh but I can," Jessie sweetly said.

Ian's eyes widened, "no, anything but that!"

"Why ruin my fun, Ian. I thought we were friends," Jessie said. She pushed Ian into the wall, she put her hand around his neck.

The Enterprise, the Security office:
Lena was leaning against the wall, James was sitting on the edge of his own desk, Sandi and Kevin were standing nearby him.

"So what do we do? She's obviously anti-men at the moment," Kevin was saying.

"The last time she went like this James eventually managed to calm her down. I doubt it'll work this time," Lena said.

"Why not?" Sandi asked.

"For starters the series will seem repetitive if he did that. Anyway the main reason is that Jessie thinks a Slayer did this to her," Lena replied.

"In other words she thinks it was either you or me," James said while looking Kevin's way.

"Hey I may be a player but I'd never sink that low. I've known I was a Chosen Slayer since I was a teen, I'm not supposed to do stuff like that anyway," Kevin said.

"What's that supposed to mean?" James asked.

"Well Slayers aren't supposed to have kids, so we have to avoid situations where that can happen. Catch my drift," Kevin said,.

Lena glanced at James, "looks like you've broken another rule Jamesy."

The door chimed. "Yeah come in," James said.

Ronnie and Wesley came through the door. "Ah Morg.. Lena," Ronnie said cheerfully. He went over to Lena and they hugged.

Wesley glanced over at James. "No don't even think about it," James said quickly.

"Um, who are these guys?" Kevin asked.

Lena and Ronnie separated. "Oh, this is Ronnie.. he was my watcher."

"I am your watcher, Lena," Ronnie said.

"Right, who's the old guy?" Lena asked.

Wesley pulled a face, "I give up, I really do."

"About time," Ronnie said.

"Didn't I tell you that you were a Slayer, would you listen?" Wesley said.

"Hey you shouldn't even be able to remember that, and I don't mean because you're very old," James said.

"You know him?" Lena asked.

"Kind of. Remember when I mentioned the father of your daughter took me back in time," James replied.

Lena looked nervous, "he clicked his fingers, I didn't do anything with him." Kevin sniggered, Sandi pulled his ear. "He's a Q, did you have to say it in that way?" Lena snapped.

"Yep. Anyway, this guy tried to tell me I was a Slayer and that he knew I went back in time. I didn't believe him," James said.

"Well if you had even tried to you wouldn't be in this mess now," Wesley said.

"And how's that?" James asked.

"Every watcher, natural and trained Slayers know that you're responsible for the deaths of the proper Chosen Slayers for the next generation," Ronnie said.

"They died of natural causes, moron," Wesley said.

"You old watchers don't know anything," Ronnie said.

"Wait, how come I'm responsible?" James asked.

"Well the real Chosen Slayers died as soon as your first born was well born. There can be only two Chosen Slayers," Ronnie replied.

Wesley rolled his eyes, "do you ever say anything that isn't made of bull?"

"Well I didn't know," James muttered.

"No of course not, you don't know anything. This is exactly why Slayers are banned from having proper serious relationships," Ronnie said.

"I thought it was the whole turning evil thing mostly," James said.

"Well you'd know about that too, you seemed to have broken every rule in the Slayer book," Ronnie said.

"There's a book?" Kevin said.

"He does speak mostly crap, but he's right about one thing. Do you realise that your whole relationship with the next generations Slayers' mother has given you a bad reputation? Everyone knows you as the worst Chosen Slayer, no sorry, the worst Slayer full stop," Wesley said.

"Fine, you're a watcher. Watch this," James said angrily, he put his finger up at Wesley. He turned away from everyone.

"See, that's the kind of attitude that's given you this reputation," Wesley said.

Lena stepped closer to Wesley, "ok you leave him alone. Maybe if you were doing your job properly things would've been different."

"She has a point," Sandi said.

"Well you would stick up for him too, aren't you the second worst?" Kevin said questioningly.

"I'm not now," Sandi said.

"No, his whole attitude is wrong. He's the descendant of a long line of powerful trained Slayers, he should have been taught at a young age what he was," Wesley said.

"Is that his fault?" Lena asked as she folded her arms.

"No," Ronnie replied.

"Exactly. So next time you start moaning on at him make sure he is fully responsible for it," Lena said.

"Fine. What's the evil this time?" Wesley asked.

James briefly glanced back at the others, "it's my wife."

"I don't know where to begin on that," Wesley muttered.

"Don't begin, just keep out of the way," Lena snapped.

"Hey I have a plan. We send these two watchers in as a decoy. While Jessie is busy ripping their guts out, we sneak up behind her and hold her down," Kevin said.

"I don't like that plan.. unless this Jessie is a push over," Wesley said.

"Maybe if we lie he'll do it," James said.

"Lie or not, we're not doing that. The least amount of people Jessie kills the better," Lena said.

"We don't even know if she's killed anyone yet," Sandi said.

Ronnie put his hand up, "maybe if we know why she's killing, we could stop her."

"That's not going to work, you moron. This time it's got to be full force," Lena said.

"Care to let me in on the plan?" James asked.

Lena sighed, "Sandi.. I want you to go to the morgue. Get a transporter lock on Dannielle Annet."

"She's still on the ship?" James said in disbelief.

"Well you were on your honeymoon, we couldn't have your sister in-law's funeral during that, could we?" Lena said.

"Hang on, why do we need Dannielle?" Sandi asked.

"You'll find out. Just get a lock on her, I'll explain more when you get back. Hopefully Jessie won't attack any girls, so you should be fine," Lena replied.

"Right," Sandi said.

"I'll get in contact with Juna, she's our only witch at the moment," Lena said.

"The Lillyia's back early, my guess is they transported these two here," Sandi said.

"All right, I'll contact Lilly. Meanwhile James and Kevin, you two stick together. Hopefully she'll come to you two first since she thinks you two are the ones responsible," Lena said.

"We're bait, great," Kevin said.

"Stop being a wuss," James muttered.

"I'm not, I said it was great," Kevin said.

"Wait if Jessie was after these two, I would've thought she'd have found them by now. She also didn't kill James when she had the chance," Sandi said.

"Ok plan two. James, Kevin, you two find her. She'll probably be in a crowded place," Lena said.

"The mess hall," James said.

"Not my mess hall, I've just re-decorated," Sandi moaned.

"It could do with some red anyway," Kevin said.

"She's on Voyager, Emma said she did fight the evil recently," Ronnie said.

"Good, my mess hall is too nicely decorated," Sandi said.

"Yeah and Jessie may kill off Neelix first," Lena said.

"That would be a good idea, he hasn't had many scenes in this series," James said.

"I'll just go and get that Dannielle girl," Sandi said. She left the room.

"What should we do?" Wesley asked.

"He could run around in circles screaming like a woman, he's really good at that," Ronnie said.

"Nah, there's always one like that in episodes like these anyway," James said.

"We could have two," Ronnie said.

"I do not scream like a woman," Wesley muttered.

"Look you two should stay out of the way, I don't care how good you two are at screaming," Lena said.

"I don't scream and you know it," Ronnie said.

"Oh yeah that's right," Lena said. She looked in James and Kevin's directions, she shook her head.

"We should have a screaming competition after all this. You should take part," James said.

"Yeah the prize could be a trip to the library in the holodeck," Kevin said.

"Ugh, male Slayers," Wesley muttered. He walked out.

Voyager, Sickbay:
"Doc, we have another one!" Lee yelled.

Doctor Jones rushed out of his office, he went over to Lee's side. Sid was lying on the biobed crying in pain. "She used a tickling spell on me, oh my god the pain!"

Doctor Jones and Lee glanced at each other. "Um, that's not the one I was talking about doc," Lee said. He pointed at the neighbouring biobed which Ian was lying on. He was almost crying with the pain. Doctor Jones rushed over to him, he scanned him.

"Good lord," Doctor Jones said in shock.

"Is it serious, please god.. it's ok right?" Ian asked, sounding petrified.

Lee went over to his other side, he patted him on the arm. "Of course it is, what's the problem?"

"Let's just say Jessie stabbed Mr Trayes in the same place," Doctor Jones replied.

"Ooh, that's not pretty," Lee muttered.

"She didn't stab me, she used a power or something. Can you treat it?" Ian asked in panic.

"Yes we can, you got here just in time," Doctor Jones replied.

"Unlike Mr Trayes," Lee said.

In: "Johnstone to Sickbay, doc my brother and Scot got attacked by Jessie. Beam them there now."

"Lee," Doctor Jones said. Lee nodded, he rushed over to the nearby station.

Bryan stumbled in with a massive scar on his face, "erm, is this a good time to tell everyone that Jessie's gone psycho again?"

"We know," Doctor Jones muttered as he treated Ian.

Bryan looked around the whole room, "ah right."

"Where was she when you were attacked?" Lee asked.

"Heading for the Mess Hall," Bryan replied.

Doctor Jones tapped his commbadge. "Jones to Bridge, get the Mess Hall evacuated now!"

In: "We can't, for some reason we can't contact anyone there. What's going on?"

"Ah so someone here doesn't know after all," Bryan said.

In: "Jessie's gone evil again."

In: "Harry, why didn't you tell me. Why I outta...."

"Aaaw, I wanted to hear the rest of that," Lee moaned.

The Mess Hall:
Like James said earlier, there was a crewmember who was running around screaming. Several smart people were sneaking out of the door. Neelix, Evil C, Ashley and Steve were the only known characters in the room, not including Jessie though.

"Somebody shut that guy up," Ashley groaned.

Steve shrugged, he grabbed a hold of the guy and he threw him towards the other door. He ran out of the room.

"Thank you, I couldn't concentrate on who to get first," Jessie said.

"That's easy, get me first. I deserve it," Evil C said. Everyone glanced at him looking worried.

"All men deserve to die, but if you insist," Jessie said. She stepped closer to Evil C, she grabbed a hold of him and threw him across the room. Steve and Ashley were unlucky enough to be the ones in the way. All three guys crashed into the wall.

Neelix cringed, "that's gotta hurt."

"Who knew that walls could hurt so much," Ashley groaned.

Steve groaned, "please god warn us the next time you get thrown across the room."

"Fair enough, no wait that's not fair," Evil C said.

Jessie glanced around, she made a disappointed groan. "Most of the guys have ran away, shame that." She caught sight of Neelix, he noticed and he backed into the back wall. Jessie beckoned him over to her, he got pulled closer to her. He tried to struggle, but he couldn't stop himself.

"Jessie, no stop," he stuttered.

"Why? You've served us piles of crap for years now, it's only natural that you get to be in some of it," Jessie said.

"No please don't, if you don't I won't hurt you," Neelix stuttered.

"Say that without the stutter pal," Jessie said. She roughly grabbed a hold of him.

"Put the lab rat down Jessie," James said as he and the other Slayers arrived on the scene.

"Yeah.. wait, hey was that an insult?" Neelix moaned.

"May as well, he really smells," Jessie said. She threw Neelix away like he was just a bit of rubbish. Once again Steve and Ashley got in the way, oh and Evil C did too.

"This is annoying me!" Steve yelled.

"Guys get out of here," Lena ordered.

"Good idea," Ashley said. The four remaining guys rushed out of the room. All that was left was Jessie and the Slayers.

"So it's the Slayer Patrol, practised your heroic speeches yet?" Jessie said.

"In fact we have, James do the honours," Lena said.

"Why am I not surprised," Jessie said.

"Look Jessie you don't have to continue this way, the attacker wasn't real.. all the guys you've attacked are innocent," James said.

"Bravo, that was nice," Jessie said sarcastically.

"I wasn't finished. It's obvious we're not going to get through to you this time, so we're just going to have to do what we do best," James said.

"I thought you just did, never mind," Jessie said.

"No, our speeches suck," Lena said.

"Ok fine, that's more fun. Bring it on," Jessie said.
